Case Study
Sand Hill Wines
Scope
The Durell Vineyard has produced top tier wines for prominent wineries of Sonoma Valley since 1979. Sand Hill Wines was founded in 2002 to capitalize on the exceptional legacy and enduring quality of this vineyard. These unique brand qualities had to be represented more effectively in the winery's online presence.
Method
Multiple creative directions were explored in a close collaboration with the client. Photographs of the vineyard during the daytime and at dusk were taken to capture the unique setting of Sonoma Valley. These and additional photos of the winery's grapes and bottles were meshed together to create a design which communicates Sand Hill Wines' unique character to prospective vendors and clients.
Results
The old-world tradition of fine winemaking was successfully balanced with the a sense of contemporary refinement. The vineyards are featured in sweeping vistas to emphasize the winery's dedication to the winemaking process. The creative direction unified all the winery's qualities in a way that exceeded the client's expectations.
